The backstory

Raised in restaurants, trained on latex

Scotty Kazan grew up around his father's work — a master chef and restaurant designer — and picked up the standard that came with it: a room is either right or it isn't, and "good enough" isn't a finish. Hospitality was the family trade long before balloons were.

He spent the better part of a decade getting genuinely good at balloon twisting, to the point of working as a premium twister. Everything else — the bubble shows, the foam parties, the decor, the booths — grew out of that one service at a time, because clients kept asking what else he could bring.

A pioneer in event entertainment: My Balloon Guy is always the first company to bring a new service to Westchester and Fairfield — trendsetting, and the rest follow.

My Balloon Guy LLC is a crew now, not one person. Scotty grew up in Mamaroneck, New York, earned his associate's degree at Westchester Community College, and lives in Stamford, Connecticut — which is why so much of the work stays close to home on both sides of the state line.
